It takes a great deal of pride in being the first national oil services company of its kind to serve Qatar Petroleum by Providing Quality slick wireline and well testing services, both to offshore and onshore oilfields of Qatar
Specialized Oil Services WLL is a partnership company promoted by two dynamic, entrepreneur, Mr. Yousuf J. Al Darwish (Qatari National), Mr. Nasser Fakhroo (Qatari National) and M/s Al Mansoori Petroleum Services (Abu Dhabi, UAE) subsidiary of TAQA (Industrialization & Energy Service Company).

The upstream services includes core activities which includes Downhole measurement, Well testing, production testing, Multi-cycle downhole shut off tools, Tubular inspection/NDT Services, offshore stimulation vessel supply,
Industrial Pre-commissioning Services, Production Chemicals, Surface & PVT analysis, Mud Logging, Supply of skilled manpower for drilling, completion and maintenance.
SOS also represents world renowned companies in Qatar, who are into cross country pipeline construction as well as offshore pipeline & platform tie-up services. These companies along with SOS have executed projects in the past through Public Tenders. Most of these types of jobs are executed via participation in Public Tender.
SOS Instrumentation Division provided technical services in the field of Electrical and Instrumentation to the Process Industries, especially Oil & Gas Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Desalination and Power Generation. Their core specialization was in the field of Process Control Instrumentation. Their Services include Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance and Equipment Management.
